Blue Hen Falls and Buttermilk Falls

Blue Hen Falls and Buttermilk falls are also in Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio, outside Cleveland.

Brandywine falls is the main attraction of the park but these 2 falls are also nice.

Both of these falls are on the same trail just off of Boston Mills Road.  The park maps show the road.

Blue Hen Falls is the first fall you will encounter on the trail.  It is small.

Buttermilk falls is larger and is down stream less then a mile.  You will have to cross the creek at some point so your feet may get wet depending on the water levels

Lower Falls Yellowstone

Lower Falls in Yellowstone National Park are the falls that you always see in pictures of the park.  They truly are beautiful.

We stopped at Artist's Point for the distant view (the one above) but also hiked on the Upper Falls Trail to see it from the top.  From there we took another trail to get his heads on view:

The Uncle Tom's trail has metal stairs that take you down close to the falls but they were closed when we went.

Misc Fall of Yellowstone

Yellowstone has tons of waterfalls but are all spread out thru the park.  We were at the park for 3 days but had a 6 month old with us and couldn't go too far out of the way to see any because it is just too much driving.

Upper falls is best viewed from the Uncle Tom's Trail Parking lot.  No hiking required.

Undine Falls is just a couple of miles past the Mammoth Springs Area.  There is parking lot beside the road.

Rustic Falls is before Mammoth springs on the side of the road.

We also saw Moose Falls but the road was being worked on was one lane and you could not park and get out to the see them.

Mesa Falls, Idaho

Mesa Falls is about a half hour before the entrance to Yellowstone (in Idaho).

There are two watefalls.  The upper falls is a short walk from the parking lot on a series of boardwalks and stairs.

The lower falls is a short walk from the upper falls.

These were definitely worth the stop on our way back from yellowstone.

The falls are pretty and there is a Mormon Temple in the background.

Mill Creek Falls

Mill Creek Falls is an urban waterfall in Cleveland, Ohio.  It may also be known as Cataract Falls.

Directions:  go to the  Mill Creek Falls History Center  Look for directions to this and you will find the falls right there.  Just use their parking lot.

The area is trick to drive around.  Lots of one way roads.  I was later told by friends that this was not the best area.  I didn't seem to notice when I was there.

There was small parking lot and then a short walk to observation deck to see the falls.
